Finnair is a world renowned aviation company with good reputation for providing excellent and high quality aviation services. In this case, a senior flight attendant of Finnair carried items for others without authorization during her duty period and refused to correct after being pointed out by the captain, which seriously violated the rules and regulations of Finnair and jeopadized the safety of flight. Finnair therfore terminated the employment contract with this employee.
The employee then filed labor arbitration and continued to sue to the courts of first and second instance after the arbitration commission made the award in favor of Finnair.
